#SelfManagement baton passing photo winners!

Posted on: Wed 4th Dec 2013

The ALLIANCE #SelfManagement campaign allows people from all walks of life (people who are disabled, living with long term conditions, unpaid carers, health and social care professionals etc.) to show their support for self management in a simple, fun and positive way. ‘Go Team #SelfManagement’ is linked to a national awareness raising campaign My Condition, My Terms, My Life and Scotland’s Self Management Week.
This year to link with the Commonwealth Games the awareness week will have a focus on physical activity. One of our key aims is to improve understanding of how physical activity can be used as a tool for self management. We ran a competition on Twitter were people could show their support for self management by tweeting photos passing the #SelfManagement baton, winners were announced 3 Dec 2013.

Gold prize- MS Therpay Centre

Silver prize- Arthritis Care in Scotland

Bronze prize- The Thistle Foundation

Congratulations! and thanks to all who got involved.
